A Program Designed to Meet Your Needs
Each therapy program is set up to meet the special needs of the individual. Therapists and other professionals at Exceptional Development Family Treatment Center will work as a team to improve the quality of your child’s life.
Our therapists have advanced training in child development and work closely with local school districts, pediatric groups and community programs. On a referral basis, we have been delivering services to children in the Shelby County school district and the City of Memphis, Tennessee. EDFTC's therapists are available to collaborate in the development of a student's IEP which is devised by the school team. Special "play-based" therapy is often employed to rehabilitate younger children with difficulties with cognition.
